Window Washers |
Tuesday, November 27, 2007 It was raining all day yesterday, but yet, we had window washers here at my office cleaning away and surprising people as they repelled down the side of the office building. I like repelling, but not to clean windows.

Don't Touch the Mannequin! |
Friday, November 23, 2007
This sign concerns me. It really does. This means that there has been a problem at this store with people touching the Mannequin. Not just one person, but several people have been told not to do it. Maybe it was Dane Cook, he was in DC a couple days ago. -JP [ add comment ] | permalink |

And I'm Back |
Thursday, November 22, 2007 It's been a while. After a year and a half break in blogging and deciding on a purpose for Living on a Whim, I'm back. I missed it. I have been working a lot, earning certifications such as the CISSP and CISA and now I have time to do some of the things I want to do. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy my weird sense of humor.

Great Falls, VA |
Thursday, April 6, 2006 I live in Alexandria, VA, and I have never imagined scenery like this existed close to my home. Were I live, almost below sea level, looks like swampland. Yet 15 miles away is this: Huge cliffs, waterfalls, and hiking trails (Oh my!). Great Falls National Park is unique to this area and is only a stones throw from the DC beltway. As with most national parks, it is inexpensive ($5) and there is plenty of parking. In fact, you can take your pet; there were many a dog on a leash last Sunday. Feel free to check out some of the better pictures I took with my new camera. -JP [ add comment ] | permalink |
